Excited to have four intaglio pieces in the Prints On Ice Exhibition at Highpoint Center for Printmaking.

“Square Dance” is an intaglio with relief, stencils and hand coloring with acrylic. Two plates, four layers and six runs through the press for additional relief details. Two ghost prints are on display, “Lagoon” and “Underwater Creatures” made with two plates run through the press four times each, with stencils, relief and hand coloring with acrylic. “Sputnik” is an intaglio using four plates and relief printed stencils, incorporating a geometric imaging purposely different from my usual painterly style. .
